I bought a Samsung TV (QE50Q60AAU) in 2021 which have been working flawlessly until today. Unfortunately, the TV has suddenly stopped working.
A large black mark appears in the corner, then the picture freezes and the TV turns off, only to turn on again (see video). You can't press any applications or turn off the TV manually. This process happens over and over until it is plugged out of the socket.
Anyone who knows if it's a software error or can be due to someone having bumped into the TV?

I fixed it by getting a Philips tv instead. Samsung people don’t want to know as it is out of warranty, despite the fact that it seems the parts just wore off far too soon for any tv. No more Samsung for me or my friends

@Members_Egt2fmj: I am unaware of any known solutions for this issue, I'm afraid. What I would suggest is running through the troubleshooter on our website by following the link below, after which you can arrange for the TV to be inspected by an engineer, should the problem persist.

HI all,
Same happened to us around may this year. It started with some horizontal lines of dead pixles. We accepted it as we had very little luck with our previous television (sony, this samsung was the replacement). Then, from the right bottom corner moving towards the middle of the screen, the screen started to go black, and then the tv started turning off and on on its own continuously. I have been through the troubleshooting guide multiple times, I have contacted samsung through the website and they have "offered" to have their courier service pick it up and check and repair the tv, ofcourse, because the warranty has expired, the costs are ours. Buying a new tv will probably be the fastest and cheapest option, but is there not a way, seeing this is happening to many of us, owning the same model, that we can hold samsung accountable? There is no way this happened by way of chance and we all have bad luck.
Btw, we purchased our tv in april '22.

Definitely not bad luck considering how many of us seem to have the same issue. Substandard parts used perhaps?
samsung told me the same - they can pick up but I will have to pay. Another solution - they can give me 15% off another Samsung tv… sounds like a good business plan for Samsung - imagine if all tvs were to only survive just past the warranty. The sales would be amazing! The cheek to even offer a discount on next purchase when the already purchased item is clearly badly put together…

Same problem with same TV! Good business model for Samsung, every 2 years you must buy the new one
