Can’t believe nearly 3gb update on firmware on my Samsung tv. BU8000

I'd be very surprised if any tv needs a 3gb firmware update let alone accommodate it, PC/laptop firmware is in mb.

I'm not upto date on tv's other than using them, so I maybe wrong but that does seem awfully large for just firmware.

3GB wow you sure, that's HUGE.

I've previously downloaded a few from Samsung support and installed via USB, but never recall anything more than a few 100MB
