I've got a 2017 MU6400 which I bought last year so I'm wondering what's stopping this being updated to support Airplay? Will it be at some point in the future? Surely most of the work is done as the difference in models is largely cosmetic.

Thanks but that's a completely different issue than mine.

I want to know exactly the same. I have a 75mu7000 tv. All premium options are available but why not an update for airplay 2?
@samsung if the hardware allows airplay 2 please update the mu7000 series!

Unortunately there are no plans at present to support Airplay2 on pre 2018 models. some chipsets are unable to support the functionality, though may not necessarily be the case with 2017 models. There was word previously that Vizio were supporting 2017 sets however I should point out that both Sony and LG are only supporting Airplay2 in 2019 models. Samsung is the only manufactuer using a direct App, the others work via Homekit.

How about at least adding the Apple TV app?
