@Carl Jenke: It should be possible to disable this feature by heading to Home > Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Multi View Casting, and press Select to enable/disable.
Thanks but Casting and Mirroring are different and turning of casting has no affected on airplay from iPhone or Mac, still auto runs Multiview regardless. Here is a screenshot of the newer models settings found online showing the different between casting and mirroring.
