£300 Cashback not paid (more than 45 days later)

My £300 cashback claim was confirmed on 15th December, but as of today (2nd Feb) has not been paid.

I have checked the "cashback status" on the Samsung Promotions website which shows "processing claim".

I have also sent a message via the contact form on the Samsung Promotions website - the site stated I'd receive a response within 48 hours, but I'm still waiting.

The is a customer service number published on the site 0330 822 6047 but I have a feeling that'll be a long wait to be answered, only no doubt to be told some excuse about being overly busy (which wouldn't explain why they couldn't send an email to everyone affected explaining that).

Is anyone else experiencing difficulties with cashback?

This experience would make me cautious about taking up such an offer from Samsung again, despite having good experiences in the past.

Bought a Samsung Ultra S24 i'm on day 68 and rising, had numerous conversations with their team and no joy apart from by end of week. Samsung themselves will not help. Guess i need to take legal action as well.

I only got paid when I registered a complaint with Advertising Standards Agency, it’s easy enough to do

No payment now 8th September. 45 days?? Promised payment 9th August.

Still nothing. No help. Going to give it 3 more days 12 Sept. That's over a month overdue.

Then Sky and Samsung will be reported to ASA. Had enough!

I have screen shots and emails confirming my claim was successful. And call recordings from Sky who told me tough sort it out with Samsung. Thanks Sky. Bye Sky! I will take my £149 TV subscription elsewhere.

78 days now, and the cashback finally arrived in my bank account. Totally unhappy with Samsung cashback campaign

Have you had any luck with your cash back. I bought a samsung tv from john lewis with samsung cash back offer . the salesman said it was easy process but after applying & putting in my tv serial number won’t accept it even though it was in the Samsung promotion offer . Ive been to JL and they don’t help . Im thinking of going to citizens advice as this seems to be a bit of a scam !! so annoying !!

Hi there, @kaz1960. Just so I have a better idea about this, are you using the serial number on the box/packaging in which your TV arrived, or did you grab this from the settings (or from a label on your TV)?:

I got the serial number from the settings on the tv which they asked for and which the samsung salesman said had the offer on a john lewis . I did everything that i was told to fill in and still keeps rejecting the code and saying the date wrong for the promotion but they change promotions all the time so how are you supposed to claim . Mine was for October and now the promotion has changed .

Samsung QE55S90D 2024 OLED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart tv  from John Lewis. I visited the samsung promotion/offers as stated on the John Lewis promotion page .
