Problem remote control

Hi I recently purchased a Samsung UHD AU7000.  I connected a Freesat Plus Humax box to the TV.  The picture comes through fine.

The issue I have is the two remote controls that came with the TV do not change the channel on the Freesat box.

The remote's both function perfectly well in every other aspect.

Does anyone have any idea how to get the remotes to change the channels up and down on the Freesat box?

go to universal remote in the settings and follow the prompts.  To get there press 'source' and scroll to the far right.

Humax freesat HDR 1100S and Samsung 50 Inch UE50DU7100KXXU Smart 4K UHD HDR LED TV

The Samsung remote is paired with Humax but lags behind on channel guide scrolling. Repeatedly pressing buttons until it reacts to channel guide scrolling.

Previous TV (an 8yr old samsung) worked perfectly well before it died.
