The device I'm using is the oneplus 15 (newest) I'm using a usb-c to hdmi 2.0 cable the TV has support for hdmi 2.1 before anyone says basically i wanna use my Samsung display as the primary display but when I use the cable it's only mirroring and I don't think it's native because the great amount of input lag and it's only 30 fps when I plug in it drops to that to i think match the TV but I think the TV does the same , the phone is at 165fps for if your wondering i get it's not a Samsung mobile and Samsung phones have solved this issue and my TV is in gaming mode but I feel like this android and the solution for everything so does anyone have any app I could install there 3rd party settings I have Google but nothing coming up with what I need

Samsung don't support displayport alt mode that is used by a lot of usbc video devices.

So you would need to check the handset is capable of putting out a hdmi single over usbc or the handshake will fail and default lower.

This will be a setting in your phone if it is available, so you would need to look at how to set your video output to hdmi alt mode instead of the normally standard displayport alt mode that is unsupported.

I would assume with Samsung pushing dex for a long time their devices default to hdmi solving the problem, but as hdmi requires a licence it's possible fitms like oneplus leave out support in favour of the cheaper displayport.
