I have a Samsung UE43JU6000 4K Ultra HD Smart TV connected directly to my router etc. Windows 10 operating system.
My pc is also connected to the same router with a UTP cable. I can share files from my pc to my TV, and also watch (play) them, without any problems.
My pc recognizes my TV and my TV recognizes my pc. The TV sees Vuse and Kodi, and the hard drive of the pc.
Also Samsung Smart View are able to stream to my TV without any problem.
However screen mirroring and streaming to my TV does not work. Doesn’t matter if I try to stream from Kodi or from Stremio.
The TV connects briefly to the pc, and then I get the message connection lost. Everything is enabled everywhere. Even Bonjour Print Services and Zeroconf.
Any solution or ideas on this problem?

Hello Pierre1866,
Do you by any chance have a Samsung telephone with Screen Mirroring? If yes, could you please check if that is working correctly?
Next thing: Turn on the TV -> On your remote control press Screen Mirroring.
Go to your Computer -> Type in the search bar of Windows 10: Wireless Display. Your TV should appear in the list.
Try to connect to your TV through Wireless Display.
Your whole computer screen should be mirrored to your television.
I'd like to hear if this has worked for you.

Hello Replicah,
No, I only have a windows telephone.
I don't see any Screen Mirroring button on my remote control. So I just go to Source, Screen mirroring.
When I open the Wireless display viewer on windows 10; it is just a black screen with a pull down menu wit Sharing and settings. Clicking any doesn't do much. My (gaming) pc was windows 8.2 originally.
When going to windows settings, display settings. And Connecting to wireless display, I do see my TV. When connecting, I get the message to follow the instructions on the TV. On the TV I get a message to cennect and I click on cennect. After about 30 seconds it just says connection lost or dropped.
When I go to Source on my TV, I can connect to my pc and play any file from there, no problem.
Samsung Smart view does stream to my TV.
And I've found out that the Stable version of Stremio (3.6.5) does also stream to my TV.
Kodi 17 do not stream. So there must be a problem with Kodi 17. I would have liked to be able to stream from there as well. Or use screen mirroring with it.
Wierd that screen mirroring doesn't work.
Greetings,
Pierre

Hi @Pierre1866,
have you tried Smart View? In case you have not, I suggest you give it a try. In English
Let me know!

Hi Bruce,
Yes I am using Smart View and the stable version of Stremio. They both work fine.

Screen Mirroring still doesn't work. And Kodi 17 doesn't work. That's the only two things that I still coudn't get to work.
On Kodi there must be something wrong with the kodi 17 version build.
But for the screen mirroring between pc and tv; I have really no idea what's wrong there. I've tried everything.
