Tab4 Iris Recognition LED - should it be on all the time?

Hi,

just noticed that the iris recognition led is now constantly on (red light).

Not sure if I changed a setting or something, but surely it shouldn't glow all the time??

 Battery use?

Any advice?

That doesn't sound right, @RodF. Let's try a soft reset on the Tablet. This will end all processes and give the Tablet a fresh start. To do this, press and hold the 'Power' and 'Volume Down' buttons until the Tablet restarts.

Let us know if this makes any difference.
