I'm using a Galaxy Tablet and attach a USB drive. I can open plain text files in an editor and make changes but it won't let me save the file. Works OK on the internal drive and so card but not the external drive. Must be something to do with file permissions but how do I change them?
Settings > Developer Options (Tap Build Number 7 times to Unlock this) > Under Networking, Default USB Configuration. Now, you can allow permission to transfer files to the USB Drive. Hope this helps! 😁
