Samsung galaxy tab S7 not charging

Hello,

I've not used my  s7 tab for a little while and the battery is fully dead. I cannot get it to charge. There is no issue with the cable/power source (I have tried it with my phone). The screen is backlighting and the charge symbol is appearing on the screen, but it isn't actually charging. I have left it for quite some time and nothing.

The screen backlight and charge symbol are not 'going off' after a while, so my thoughts are, is this lighting zapping all of the charge before it can power up the tablet? I've tried pressing the power button etc to put it to sleep and stop the backlighing/charge symbol from being displayed, but nothing.

Any ideas please?

Thank you!

Sorted.

Incase anyone stumbles across this post, luckily my husband has a high power charger. So I used this and held down the power and vol down button, until the Samsung logo came on. Thankfully it's 'sleeping' now and charging.

It's simply the voltage in the battery are likely dangerously low. You probably need to leave it with a high voltage charger to get it to start the charging process. This can happen to inactive devices with low battery charge that have been left for a while.
