Samsung galaxy tab a9 wake/sleep does not work

Hello everyone,

I bought the galaxy tab a9 and the case for the table and the case does not wake and sleep the tablet when opening or closing the case. There is no setting for this functionality in the settings of tablet. There should be the Accessories menu under the setting Advanced features, but i have not the Accessories menu in the settings Advanced features.

Help me please how to turn on the Wake/sleep function of the case

Hi there, @Ulevel. For clarity, have you purchased the official/genuine Samsung case for your Tab A9 and, if so, how long have you been experiencing the issue with it not waking your tablet or enabling it to go to sleep?

Please let me know which specific case you're using. This will give me and the other Community users an even better idea of what might be causing the issue.

Ah, I see. With it being a third-party accessory, it might not always work as expected (or there might be compatibility issues in some instances).

Using an online translation service, I wasn't able to confirm that this case has the Auto Sleep/Wake feature. This will be based upon the inclusion of strategically-placed magnets within the case.

At this stage, I'd recommend getting in touch with either the retailer or case manufacturer to see whether the feature is available.

There is in the description on the e-shop that the wake/sleep functionality should work with this case.

It's 3rd party it won't work i have an a9 myself with a 3rd party case it doesn't matter much thougu

I purchased original Samsung cover for Galaxy tab A9 and i also did Factory reset of the tablet but the Wake/sleep still does not work.

That's strange, @Ulevel. Did you verify that this feature was advertised in the specifications of the official cover you purchased? Also, which case/cover did you purchase?

I purchased this case: Tab A9 Ochranné pouzdro Black | Samsung CZ

In the description is stated that automatic wake/sleep work.
