Pinning apps not possible on OneUI 8.0

I have bought the Tab S11 Ultra, which comes with OneUI 8.0 preinstalled. I am noticing that you can not pin apps to always be on the foreground of other apps, regardless of whether I am on tablet mode or the new dex mode. Can this feature be brought back? I like to be able to have Pinterest pinned while I have CSP open to draw. I like having the full screen of CSP on with a smaller version of Pinterest open on the foreground at all times.

@Lonestark: In order to assign app pairings, please follow the steps below. 

1. Open an app e.g. Pinterest

2. Tap the Recents button in your Navigation bar

3. Tap the app icon above the app preview window > Open in split screen view

4. Select the app you want to pair it with via the options at the bottom of the screen 

5. Tap the 3 dots in the middle of the screen (at the point where the 2 app windows meet)

6. Tap the star > Add app pair to > Select 'Home screen' or 'Apps edge panel'.
