Locked out of Tablet

I bought a Tab S7 FE from the original samsung website on Thursday and it has arrived on Friday.

After setting it up with my email, wifi etc. I was locked out of the tablet.

This message displays on my screen. "This device has been reported as lost, stolen or undelivered by the purchaser which has resulted in the device being locked."

I contacted the support number that was displayed and was told that'd they will fry to fix it and that I should expect a reply within 24 hours.

It's been longer than that and now I'm unsure how to proceed.

Should I wait longer? Phone them again just to be told to wait longer? 

I've never had something like this happen so I don't know what to do.

If anyone has been through something similar then I would appreciate any advice.

Try holding the power and both volume buttons to fastboot and use the volume buttons to navigate to reset the tablet to factory settings

I'm afraid that won't help when a device is blocked by Samsung.

@dandex Unfortunately, the only people that can unblock the device is Samsung. I would recommend chasing them to resolve this.

@dandx: Can you confirm if you traded in an existing device at the purchase stage when you ordered your Galaxy Tab S7 FE?

I contacted support today and they basically just told me to keep waiting.

I got little faith atm 😕

I'm in the exact same situation but I have my Google accounts logged in on it before it decided to place itself into this mode. Mine only says this tablet is lost on the screen and requires a pin that previous owner can't access either
