icon descriptions

I have purchased a samsung A7 tablet , the top row of icons on the home screen have names below them but the  bottom row of icons on the home screen do not have names. How do I show names below the bottom row of icons?

The ones on the bottom row, are they the icons on the dock?

Thanks for responding but I do not understand what "the dock" is

My home screen has weather and time towards the top of the screen , under that is an area to enter a google search , there is then a row of six icons with names under each one then right at the bottom of the screen is a further row of seven icons without names
