Hello, You can translate the words you want by hovering over the text on the Tab S9+ using the S Pen. I often used this method from English to Turkish to learn the meanings of words I didn't know. Samsung's own English to Turkish translation is terrible (it can't even translate very simple words). So until now you could easily set it to translate using Google's translation engine instead of Samsung's in the settings. But after the last update you can't do this (the update in question is One UI 6.1.1.1), S pen translate only works using the Samsung translate engine. Unfortunately there is no option left to choose the Google translate engine.
I don't know if this is a bug, but if it is, I hope it is resolved as soon as possible. It is a big mistake for Samsung to remove this option without offering a better product.
While I was thinking about how to solve it myself, I tried to roll back the update, but it seems that it is not possible.
TL;DR Samsung Translate should allow using Google Translate engine again, which is not possible after the latest update One UI 6.1.1.1
If you know of a translation or dictionary app that works with the S Pen's hover feature or if there is a way to revert the tablet's software to its previous version it would be great if you could let me know.
