Galaxy Tab A Wifi Manager Notifications

There's no problem when I'm at home but when I'm in a hotel and logging into the hotel wifi the tablet always gives an audible notifcation when it connects. I have searched all through the settings options but can't find where to turn off these notifications.

It seems necessary to reconnect to the wifi whenever you've not used the tablet for a few minutes, so these notifications are getting really annoying.

Grateful for advice on how to turn off these notifications.

Software version: Android version 11

NB this tablet has no Network Notifications section in the Wifi settings.

Just out of interest have you got 'metered connection' set up properly. Sounds like your getting a warning about data usage and disconnected.that would be under data,roaming not wifi.

Thanks for this thought, but I can't find any settings for Data, roaming. However, the tablet doesn't have a SIM card, so there's no phone contract with a data allowance involved.

There's also a notification sound when it shows 'Sign in to Wifi network' in addition to when it actually connects.
