Galaxy Tab A 2019 not unlocking

I have a galaxy tab a. I have tried to unlock it after it being fully charged but every single time it says wrong password even though it is the correct one and I haven't changed it. someone please help i have a lot of important data on there and don't want to lose it all

the last application I used on there was daily board

have you tried restarting it

I have to enter the pin to restart

its OK, I'm going to try taking the battery out

restart it using factory settings - unfortunately you'll lose all the data you've input BUT use what has happened as a wakeup call - only use the security settings if there is a danger of someone using your device whilst its switched on without you being there - but ask yourself would you leave your bank card in the ATM and walk away? That is the answer

hold power button and volume down together for about 15 second for soft reset

i managed to fix it by draining the battery and then charging it again
