I have had the following message come up on my newly purchased tablet which was not part of a trade in with myself

After having the 'your phone will be locked in 24 hours' message since the 14th, and after Samsung confirming receipt of my trade in device (2 days before the deadline), my phone has now been locked as of midnight on 19 October, despite being assured by Samsung's general support number that this would not happen.
I cannot fathom how incompetent Samsung have clearly been on this one, nor how this completely unequivocal breach of trust and confidence by Samsung on its end users, not to mention Samsung's complete disregard in their lack of response, has not made wider news yet.
This is a brand new Fold 3 bought directly from Samsung's website.

The same as above, just opened my zflip3 and it is now completey locked out and unusable, now what? we cant even get a response by anyone. I'll be calling them again tomorrow, but i know i wont get anywhere! Like buying some phone from a dodgy ebay seller, you wouldnt expect this from Samsung themselves!

My phone has now been locked. My old handset has already been confirmed as received, and in any case the deadline is not until 23 Oct. Totally unacceptable, I don't even have a phone to call Samsung support.

I received an email this morning saying my trade in is complete. Lock message is still present though, but phone still not locked.
Spent over an hour on the phone to Samsung arguing over replacement handset. They say its not faulty so reluctant to process exchange. Although they might have in the end they then said I'd be without a phone for 7-10 days. No good as they have my old phone! They requested screenshots of trade in received message and completion message to escalate internally. Don't expect much of a response. Has anyone else received an email indicating their trade in is complete?
