No I haven't. I've contacted amazon via the developer contact at the Google Play Store. The email listed was:

aiv-android-feedback@amazon.com

That was a week ago and I haven't heard anything.

I've also given feedback on the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store.

Really annoying considering all other video streaming apps are 1080p and some are even HDR including Netflix. The tablet is capable of 1080P HDR10+ so why can't prime video at least give us 1080p?

Had a check at the drm info of the tablet and it does support the Widevine L1 Certificate which is required for HD playback. Netflix plays in hdr and so does disney in hd.

I guess amazon need to update their app or enable something to support playback of HD.

Hi,

I was able to watch content in  hd by disabling hardware acceleration in stream and download menu, watch a content and then re-enabling it again.
