The third installment in this series is more around general use; multitasking and the all important, entertainment.
Surely one of, if not the primary reason for a tablet, isscreen size - and this S10+ is a whopper - in a chassis that's barely any thicker than a USB C port, yet there is zero flex, it feels rock solid.
Video Editing
One of my first tasks on this mega screen was editing a short video usingLumafusion. I'm very familiar with this app, using it on my S24 Ultra frequently with the S Pen - editing a video on this size of screen with a full size S Pen was so much easier - it's obvious; a bigger screen, more to display, easier to navigate around, it was a breeze.
S Pen
A full size S Pen, do I need to say much more. Oh..with Bluetooth (IYKYK) . Not only does it make pin point precision with the aforementioned video editing, drawing (we'll get to that) etc but I found myself just zipping about the OS, swiping around and dragging apps - it's a really nice feature. It snaps on the back of the tablet with magnets and wireless charges - nice.
Now I amclearly no artist, nor am I patient enough to spend quality time drawing but I did enjoy the pre installed Pen Up app and can see people getting lost for hours on this alone. The pen is really responsive, very natural feel and even I was able to create these absolute masterpieces:
Multitasking
By simply dragging open apps to snap left and right, or top and bottom; there is enough screen space to comfortably multitask to you hearts content.(You can of course do this on most phones too)
Please note: not all apps support split view. You can force them to do so but you might experience some issues.

Entertainment
Well this is a key selling point; watching movies, YT and TV shows on such a clear high definition display could be the reason you chose this tablet. Photos won't do it justice but I've included some below. A point worth raising is that not all app developers seem to allow for the highest resolution, BBC iplayer for example, looked pretty low def so not sure what's going on there.
- Netflix - what they call full HD with HDR. Looked good
- Disney - doesn't seem to state resolution but also looked good
- Prime Video - seems to top out at 1080p
- YT - by far the best topping out at 2k
- BBC iPlayer - looked by far the worst, doesn't state resolution but in my testing, was disappointing.

Battery
A quick word on battery; a screen-on time example below, this clearly depends on what your doing, how demanding you're being of the performance, how bright your screen is bla bla bla normal stuff, but there is some great life here with superfast 2.0 charging to boost you back up.
My next post should be on the ecosystem and multiview, until then
Gus out.
