Please let us change icon layouts or icon sizes for folders.
OneUI 2 and 2.5 had 4 icons across, and it was a vertical free-scroll.
OneUI 3.0 is now 3 icons across, wasted space, icons too big, and a horizontal page scroll.
I can't find a way to change it, but much preferred the 4 icons across.
Can we have layout options like we do for home screen and app screen?

I'm the one that posted this topic.
When I posted it, I didn't expect to be getting several notifications about it daily, still 2 months after I posted it.
This, and about 12 other bugs/issues are why I gave up and went back to Android 10.
This folder issue was 1 of about 15 bug/error reports I filed since beta 1, and only 2 were fixed or given attention to, and one of those actually went worse after a subsequent update.
If this is what we have to look forward to from Samsung's commitment to speedier updates, I really hope they go back to how they used to be and release them months later.

I'm very curious about the other 13 bug/error reports that were not fixed. I've not yet gone back to Android 10, but these issues might convince me to do so.
Are you allowed to share them?

Honestly, I don't remember any more. Once Android 11 went public, I couldn't find how to access my previous bug reports, so it was a mental note of what they were.
Some minor, some extremely frustrating.
A few from memory:
Notification panel pull-down, the bottom gets "stuck" at fixed position and you have to dismiss the panel and pull down again.
Tapping an email notification often opens the inbox rather than the actual email, which then clears all unread email notifiations.
Video recording (whether motion photo, actual video, or "single take" is often jittery.
Similarly, video playback gets jittery when there's UI overlaying it too (such as the volume bar).
A few were about Conversation Bubbles - they're just broken - they often stop appearing, and you just get a notification or old-style notification. Bubbles also always appear in the top left corner, regardless of where they were when dismissed/closed - no good for a right-handed one-handed operation. Often tapping the bubble just causes it to disappear.
Another was gallery related - if you tap a photo to view it, then swipe up, the information is lacking on Android 11. I can't remember what was missing now, but it was no longer as useful as on Android 10 and you had to tap a "more info" type icon to view the full info, so added an extra step.

Yes the Conversation Bubbles/Pop-up Notifications are no longer available! Ridiculous.

They've worked for me

My s20+ just upgraded and this change is very annoying. My apps in folders used to fit nicely on one page, but now 1-2 are dangling over to a second page. Please change this back or allow for the page size to be customizable.

I have also joined the forum purely to ask for this to be changed back. It's worse, both on the basis of appearance and functionality.

Please do this ! 4 across was okay, 3 across is very frustrating !!
Please add an option to make it 3, 4 or 5 across

I echo the other comments on this page. Why would you make such a change with no option to change it back?

Just updated my s20. This is sooooo annoying. WTF? Why would anyone change this? Fist of all, did not want to update at all, but this stupid notification kept popping up. So I updated it for what? All settings changed back to default. And the number of icons is now 3 instead of 4 and there is no way to change it. I am getting really disappointed with Samsung. Being a loyal customer for almost my entire life I might now consider switching to apple.
