Folder size/layout

Please let us change icon layouts or icon sizes for folders.
OneUI 2 and 2.5 had 4 icons across, and it was a vertical free-scroll.

OneUI 3.0 is now 3 icons across, wasted space, icons too big, and a horizontal page scroll.

I can't find a way to change it, but much preferred the 4 icons across.

Can we have layout options like we do for home screen and app screen?

Oh my gosh, what a stupid change to make with the folder layouts.  Who's idea was it to get rid of that feature that would allow MORE icons to be contained inside a folder and to have them be 4 across...now I have to go hunting for my apps within folders..what a pain. PLEASE put it back the way it was.

Yeah.. I guess the whole point of folders is to make it more complicated for you to find your apps

The strange thing is, the view was one way, then forced with the update to a smaller grid size. At least allow the user a choice. Terrible.

I came late to this update, hoping that any issues would have been resolved long ago, to find this stupid backwards step and lack of flexibility. As with many others, I had to create a profile in order to like the original question and poat my owb comment.

If the purpose of the OS update was to engage more users on the platform, goal achieved. If it was to make the phone more user-friendly and flexible, then it was more of an own goal.

I have Joined just to add to the list of frustrated people complaining about this stupid move they have just done. I only did the upgrade to UI3 this morning and I am not a happy Chappy. Open the wrong apps due to muscle memory and its a mess actually. SAMSUNG fix this please!!!!!!! Give us the option to change the layout of our folders.

There is actually so much wasted space even when in Apps it feels as if the spacing has changed too. What a mess of an update not happy at all 😞

I've joined the community just to have a say on this issue.

This change is an absurdity. Who decided that this would be an improvement to user experience, and why?

Please allow us to change the folder grid the same way we can change the grid for Home screen and Apps.

In the meantime, please just reinstate the previous 4x4 instead of the current 3x4.

This is a terrible change. Please give us the option to show more icons. I now have to scroll forever in a folder to see some apps
