Stacked Notifications - why?

The new iOS-style stacked notifications in OneUI 7 are absolutely awful and far less efficient than what we had before in OneUI 6.1. Previously, I could see multiple notifications from an app grouped together in one compact card. There was no need to expand the card unless I wanted to take action on one of the notifications. Now, I can only see the most recent notification for any given app and I have to expand the stack every time just to see the rest.

This feels like a huge, clunky step backwards so please Samsung at least give us a setting to let us switch back to Android-style listed notifications instead of these stacked ones.

I was enjoying my S24 Ultra up until this change, but I must admit, I'm seriously thinking of heading back to Pixel now.

I created an account just to COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE STACKING. At least give us an option to go back to the old way! I am missing lots of information this way!!!

Obviously when the thousands of consumers were testing the beta version of this new firmware didn't complain about stacked notifications otherwise I seriously doubt that Samsung would have released it.

After reading the number of times that this exact issue was raised in the One UI Beta Programme threads, I don't understand how you could come to this conclusion.

German customer service recommended that I should write my feedback here too: https://businessportal.samsung.de/lob-kritik-formular/

I am not sure where is the English/Global variant of this site, if it even exists.

I really hope they fix this! It's driving me crazy. I keep missing or accidentally dismissing important notifications. But of course every single Snapchat or instagram notification pops up separately. Those are the apps that should be nested so they arent clogging my screen. Not my text messages and emails?? Why did they have to add all these unnecessary extra swipes to see the notifications bar, quick menu, and app notifications? It's the opposite of improving efficiency. It's slowing me down and impacting my productivity

PLEASE send this on to the developers! This issue with the notifications is a step in the wrong direction, especially since it cannot be disabled. Additionally, the other changes to the notification menu are incredibly frustrating. I loved my notifications panel/quick actions bar the way it was, and this update has just made it clunkier and harder to navigate. I don't want to swipe 3 or 4 times just to see my notifications and other phone info. I want to glance down, see my notifications and carry on with my day. Also, having the "now playing" mini widget in the status bar is incredibly frustrating. It negates the whole purpose of the status bar which is to let me see my notifications at a glance. Overall, the changes made in the latest update feel unnecessary and unproductive. It would be a great improvement to give users an option to revert to the previous system's notifications style.
