Questo documento già l' avevo scaricato ma è solo un manuale d'uso, non spiega come installarlo.
Io ho ancora il box nativo e ho letto che prima di sostituirlo bisogna fare un backup. In questo manuale invece (mi sembra) non ne fa ammenda.

Installing the UHD Evolution Kit SEK-3500u
~ First, check the TV's network status and ensure there is an Internet connection.
By connect1ng the UHD Evolution Kit to your existing Samsung TV, you can upgrade the TV's software without purchasing a
new TV. Use the UHD Evolution Kit to unlock the new features and services offered by Samsung Electronics.
1. Update to the latest software on your TV. Navigate to Support > Software Update > Update now.
2. Back up your data by navigating to System > UHD Evolution Kit Backup, and then select Start.
~ Some data or apps installed on the TV may not be backed up. In this case, install a UHD Evolution Kit, and then
reconfigure those data or reinstall those apps.
3. After completing the backup and conversion, select Done .
4. After turning off the TV, disconnect its power plug.
5. Connect a UHD Evolution Kit to the TV. Make sure to connect the end of the UHD Evolution Kit cable marked TV to the TV
and the other end to the Kit.
~ If you have the existing One Connect or UHD Evolution Kit, disconnect it and connect a new UHD Evolution Kit
to the TV.
~ When connecting the UHD Evolution Kit, make sure to use the provided UHD Evolution Kit cable.
6 . Reconnect the power plug, tum on the TV, and then follow the directions on the screen to complete the installation of the
UHD Evolution Kit.
~ Store your old One Connect in a safe place. Do not discard it.

Buongiorno Erika, update sek 4500....no service menu, metodo Ir fallito, tramite telefono di amico, provato e non va....riuscito nella geolocalizzazione dello Smarthub...il metodo esiste ma per ora Nada de nada....

thanks for the update... Pero' ho visto le porte sul retro del kit accanto alla LAN c'e'ha l' EX-LINK!!!!

Che altro non e' la porta attraverso cui tramite cavo

e un pc con putty.exe o terminal i tecnici fanno connessioni telnet x eseguire comandi sui tv e dispositivi.
Vediamo se trovo i comandi...

Sembrerebbe nulla di complicato. 

Unica cosa poco chiara: una volta fatto il backup (immagino sfruttando un'unità esterna) di questo che me ne faccio ? 

E' necessario fare il ripristino di questo dal nuovo evolution kit ?

Magari fosse vero...ma qui chi fa da se fa per 3

Mister, intanto prova anche tu a fare ricerche su google visto che hai il kit a disposizione....
Cerca un software-ino che si chiama rusamsungtvcommunicator.exe x windows...che ti mette in cominicazione tramite IP

La procedura EX-LINK invece sembra richieda conoscenze di reverse engineering, ma continuo a cercare...

Già fatto tramite rucommunicator ma da errore di connessione, sembra non sia compatibile con le ultime TV e quindi anche evolution kit 4500 sembrerebbe rigettare il tutto....

Sicuro che non sia un problema di settaggi in tedesco? ahaha

o sei riuscito a trovare una versione in inglese?
