SmartTag 2 - Battery life and low warnings ⚠️

I used to keep a log of how long my SmartTag CR2032 battles would last, but gave up as thought 5 mths was ok, but in the last 6 mths I have purchased two 10 packs from Costco, Duracell, so it's gone downhill, a few i set to power save mode, but what's the point of a SmartTag without the Smart bit.

Also finding it am getting daily reminders for 4 of my SmartTags, but when I go into the app, connect and check it shows as fine.

Anyone have battery life and low battery warning issues ?

I have the same issue, theybdont last long double battery life if you powe save but typically use energiser batteries

I did have a bad run with some battery packs but more recently have been ok.

I think SmartTags should be rechargeable

My smart tag battery drains soooo fast, no clue why as they are just on my keys etc but I don't get battery low warnings even though the battery level is very low. I put a battery in one of them and 3 weeks later it was down 50%.

I have just bought some SmartTag 2's. Constantly getting battery low warnings but the battery is fine in the app.

I'm getting the same constant low battery warning when its actually "sufficient" in SmartThings. Sounds like a bug.

Excellent thanks all, it seems to be once the tag connects via the app the battery level is fine, but getting daily reminders they are low, might get a volt meter

Blame it on the cold weather.

I got for my car one.

Duracell as well. 😊
