Hub and WiFi

This might be have a simple amswer, but i cant find it... but do you still need a Smartthings hub?

I e curre try got two Samsung Connect Home Pro, which provide WiFi mesh and smartthings. At some point I want to upgrade to 6e, but Samsung no longer seem to make routers?

Is it a case of:

a. Create new 6e WiFi network for main internet access, then add the Connect Home for the Smartthungs devices

b. Just switch to 6e as smartthings no longer needs a 'hub'?

@RichyC You still need a Hub if you plan to use Zigbee/Z-Wave devices as it's the Hub that has the antenna for these. To get the most out of the service, and to ensure compatibility with the widest range of products, you'll need a Hub.
