I should have received an email months ago inviting me to upgrade my phone. I had a look last week using my credentials, and it's telling me I'm not eligible to upgrade yet - I have to wait until January 2023 😂
After going round in circles with a bot I managed to get an agent to pass on my details and apparently someone will email me in the next 2 days. Whilst I was in the chat box, the agent asked me to confirm my contact details on my account for verification, and within hours I've had multiple spam calls.
What happened to privacy and data sharing laws! Has anyone had any issues like these, and any advice going forward? It is incredibly frustrating.

Hi @Lia Jane , That sounds a bit... strange. 😕
Asking for contact details for verification is standard; but getting spam calls after contacting Samsung Support isn't something I've heard about before, so I'd be interested if anyone else has also had that experience too. Can you share a link to the site you used to get in touch with Samsung?
And did you get an email?
