S22 ultra trade in

Hey, I wanna trade in my s21 ultra for the s22 ultra during the pre order but due to having disabilities I can't be without a phone and apprently the delivery could take up to 4 weeks to arrive so I'm a bit hesitant to do it really.

I don't wanna buy a spare phone just for the 4 weeks as I'd already be spending a bit to get the new phone even with the discount.

So I was wondering if the trade in only exists during the pre order period or if it's possible to trade in after the pre orders have ended? Just bothering me as the discount is quite nice at the moment but being without a phone for 4 weeks isn't something thats possible and I'd have to spend atleast a couple hundred to get a phone that can run Facebook messenger (I don't just use text and calls etc for my contacting needs)

Maybe I'm worrying to much bout can't find anything about trade in end dates etc

• Any help is appreciated, I'm not here to argue why I can't buy a burner phone etc to help me tide over until it's delivered thank you.

They start shipping from the 25th so that's a couple of weeks, and I would expect that you'd have to send your old phone back only when you have received your new device. I've not used their Upgrade program and I only have to send my old device after having received the new one (most people would have 1 device anyway and would not love without anything for a few days anyway).

I thought it was only special colours that had a 4 week wait?
Also (don't qoute me) but I think you only have to send your trade in after you've received the new phone.

Don't worry
You don't send the traded in phone off until you receive the new phone.
You then have a week normally to sent the traded in phone back.

Before you send it off. Remember to sign out of all your accounts on that phone and then factory reset the phone. Put it in it's box ready to send.

Best to send it off sooner rather than later. Just in case, take dated photos of the phone showing its condition and packaging when you send it off.

You normally get the packaging and label to put it all in.
See if you can get a receipt when you send it so you have proof of sending.

It's a straight forward process I've done lots of times and normally goes ok

I just traded in my s21 for ultra, they don't expect you to send your old phone until you receive your new one

Thanks alot guys this helps clear everything up with it, I don't know why I forgot that you send it in once you receive the device because I did that with my s7+ I traded in my old tablet for it duh!

Hi, it seams in the USA there have the option to trade in two devices when pre-ordering the S22 ultra 5g, they also seam to get the options of free memory upgrade (128gb to 256gb) etc. And they also get $200 to $250 samsung instant credit (depending on promotion) to use in store. I'm in London uk and wondering if i can also trade my two devices, also a free memory as I wish to pre order the s22 ultra 5g 256gb as for some reason the 128gb version only has 8gb of ram opposed to the other versions please could you help
