Haven't received a confirmation email

Hi, I placed an order through Samsung finance but still haven't received a confirmation email from Samsung.

I have received my loan agreement email but nothing from Samsung.

Can anyone help?

Did you get one that says something like "We've received your order and are currently processing it." ?

This has happened to me in the past. Did you take a note of your order number on screen? If so have a look at samsung order tracker online. You should be able to see your order there

I done the same order yesterday and didn't received the email as well. But when I login with my Samsung account and go to orders is there and says in progress. Shows that the payment is accepted but is not Order Acknowledged yet, that's maybe way the email didn't came yet

Quite infuriating...

You can see the presence of the order of you log in to samsung.com and go to the menu to the right of the profile icon at the top of the page. You then see a bunch of product types and, if you scroll to the bottom, there is "orders'. Click on that and you will see your order number and status (" processing"....)

Click on "more options" and, under the phone details, you will see "payment accepted " in bold with "order acknowledged" as being the next stage in the order process (this, disturbingly, is grey").

I wonder if Samsung Global is using time between acknowledgement and dispatch as a key performance indicator, the metric definition is too stringent to account for pre-orders and there is no one who can successfully, or even had the appetite to challenge in the name of the customer's experience. This might also explain why some European countries are dispatching on order receipt (a different regional office may have a different approach to fudging order management performance to protect the regions targets from aberrant events such as pre-orders). Lucky Belgians!

Looking back through various forums, this has been a long standing cause of worry for customers in the UK.

I think a lot haven't progressed passed step 1. I know mine hasn't and I ordered during unpacked.

Spoke to Samsung and said not to worry as payment accepted and it will progress, but for me I've had issues with another provider during pre-order where payment accepted but never went further.

Some have been cancelling orders and reordering and getting earlier dates. I know with the 512gb it was saying 17th before it ships yesterday. But that is also down to colour.
If you cancel on a finance/credit plan you have to wait for it to be cancelled by provider before reordering (depending on your credit facility) which can be upto a week.

TBH, I'm waiting to see what happens and if order screws up and doesn't progress by 13th then I'll cancel and reorder the 1tb model along with the case.

Yeah I had the same issue but all good now found my order.

Hopefully our orders doesn't get canceled 🤞

I'm hoping that as well, currently down for 13th but did know some colours are shipping earlier. I think a lot have gone for the green
