So it's been reported there was a data breach of uk site with various details leaked.

Has anyone had any information from Samsung regarding this and what details were actually stolen?

No passwords or financial data were impacted, Samsung spokesperson said it had been reported to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office according to Bleeping Computer. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/samsung-hit-by-new-data-breach-impacting-uk-store-cus... see more in the thread linked.

As far I'm aware it doesn't effect our personal data and details according to Samsung, everything still intact. But this isn't the first time our data been leaked to hackers.

I think Samsung should learn from the past and make sure the systems that are in place are foolproof.

Your full name & address also your email address, I'd say that's quite a big breach, no matter how a company trys to belittle their mess up.
That's some serious information to collect.
Certain dodgy companies pay for that kind of information.
In my opinion.

Agree with you on that, especially as some allow you to change email address without any authentication in place.

I also think companies using sms or email for 2FA codes are behind the times and lack enough security protocols.

Correct but they should be paying someone to constantly try hacking their systems for breaches so they can update.
