Hi, I had already pre ordered my phone but just now received a cancellation email saying it did not passed the rigorous security checks.

Has anyone received the same? And top of that the customer care support time ends at 8p.m. Pre order is only 5 hours to go off.

Hey there

I'm afraid you'll need to contact Samsung Customer Services to try to find out why your order was cancelled.

This is a customer to Customer Forum so we can't see orders or accounts.

Usual reasons for cancellation include:

Delivery address differ from billing address.

Too many orders to the same address.

Previous non payment by customer.

Failure of customer to send trade in device previously.

I'm not suggesting that any of these apply to you. Just providing examples.

Feel your pain my phone was at local dpd depot for delivery tomorrow and 5 hour later samsung requested it returned. Support are not telling me why

It's probably not samsung... I had this issue a couple years ago. Dpd have some of marker you'll need to contact their security team which I found was difficult. Dpd advisors won't tell you anything. When I had the issue all items were being sent back to the sender with Dpd claiming the sender has requested them back.
