I contacted support yesterday morning about cancelling my order as it’s been stuck in ‘preparing dispatch’ for days and support put in a cancellation request for the order and I got an email acknowledging my cancellation request. 

I was just wondering how long it might take for the order be cancelled. Support can’t give me a timeframe. One agent said within the day or two and others are saying they can’t give a specific timeframe.

Should be able to cancel it yourself in your order online
I did this week because I wasn't prepared to wait forever for the Buds I ordered
Refund payment was processed same day as well

Hey, I’m not able to cancel it myself probably because it’s in ‘preparing dispatch’ phase. I tried looking to see if I could find the cancel order anywhere but couldn’t so had to go through customer support instead. I’m just not sure how long it takes when you have to request a cancellation through support

Well nothing will really happen over a weekend. So probably find out during the week

Given last year's relentless complaints about not being able to cancel orders, I have to say this is a significant improvement that this can be done online.

So I should receive confirmation of cancellation by tomorrow morning as I had to contact support to get the order cancelled? When asking the support agents they said they can't give me a timeframe. I'm afraid my order is going to be stuck in 'preparing dispatch' even after requesting cancellation.

If you are not able to cancel an order that is because the store has accepted the payment. Customer care can easily cancel the order when contacted. And it will be quick
