I just got an email from Samsung, stating that my traded device was not "powering up", but I'm INCREDIBLY skeptical about that because before I even mailed it into Samsung (almost 3 weeks ago now), my old, broken phone was able to charge and boot up as normal. It just took a long time for it to turn on due to the battery being so dead. Now, today (March 11), I get an email stating that it's not booting up and I'm going to be charged for the trade-in. I have done this process before with a phone that was way worse off than the one I had just sent in with no issues. I'm genuinely calling BS on this new trade-in. Like, did the tech team try keeping it plugged in for more than 30 minutes because that's about how long if not longer for it to turn on for me.
