Samsung is a very bad company. I am using Samsung phone for the first time. When I went to its service center and said that sir, my mobile's fingerprint is not working, how much have you charged for fixing it?

They said 250β‚Ή service charge separately and then the labor charge for repairing will be separate and the cost of any part will be separate and if there is a software problem, then 350β‚Ή extra will be charged for software update.

Even after that, the mobile is not fixed or the mobile dies while updating the software, then we will not be responsible for it and "neither the service center people nor the customer care people cooperate"

Before this, I used OPPO mobile for 6 years. OPPO company people did not charge me even a single rupee extra.

"I just want to say this to Samsung company people that if you are taking money from the customer, then give full facilities and take full responsibility"

You are trying to compete with Apple, first become worthy of that.

Those who want to move on to Samsung should keep these things in mind

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

I'm sorry to hear of your issues. However you have reached the UK and EU Forum.

You would be better posting your question into the India Regional Forum as the hardware, software and consumer laws are very different in India to the UK.

Just to comment on your fingerprint problems. Have you tried to diagnose the issue yourself. ?

I believe the fingerprint is on the side button of the power on off button.

try and record your fingerprints again in the security settings. You can also record your most common finger more than once to help with the accuracy.

If this is not the problem then like our other member star says, you are better to post on the India community.

Good luck

@Sss658422   just checking if you  have tested the Diagnostics, Samsung Members-Get Help-Phone Diagnostics-Fingerprint Recognition to see if any errors were detected there.  if not you can reregister Fingerprints as @smiley suggested. ( I  register a few Fingers twice).

Sometimes clearing the cache partition can fix fingerprint issues.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

For other support though you would be best direecting this to the Indian community.
