Custom notification sounds

Why can't i change the notification sound in different apps.. So I know which app is giving me a notification. Did samsung remove this feature??

No, you still can do it. You only have to turn it on one time from the settings. What you have to do is: go to Settings>>>Notifications>>>Advanced settings.... and then you'll have to turn on the option "Manage notification categories for each app"... And then you're good to go 👍🏻😊.

There is no option "Manage notification categories for each app".
I'm using Android version 14 on Samsung S22 Ultra.

Hey, the S22U is different from the S24U. The S24U has the latest One UI 6.1, but the S22U is still on One UI 6.0. Here's a quick fix: long-press on the app you want to change the notification sound for, then tap on app info ---> tap on "Notifications." That's where you can change the sound for One UI 6.0.

Thanks for the reply but it did not work, it takes me to the same place where there is no option for changing the app notification sound, the only options are "allow sound and vibration" or "silent."!

Is the option you're are talking about turning it on "Manage notification categories for each app" because in my phone doesn't exist under Settings>>>Notifications>>>Advanced settings.

Can you please clarify the steps I need to do to get to the option you're saying I have to turn on?
