After installing security update Jan 2024 i got error message "Samsung core error". Reboot loops and froze either in the home screen or in certain apps all the time, only way to get response was to use button combination to restart.
Chose to initialize the phone to factory reset and started with a completely clean phone, but it still doesn't behave normally.
Apps freeze or won't install and initialize properly, but don't get any error messages.
I need to have the phone rolled back to the previous update or have the phone reinstalled with a security patch that works, but it is listed as fully patched and cannot be reinstalled again.
So, any advice would be apreciated. And if anyone else has experienced the same, please come forward since I need to find if I'm the only one.
It's a shame to spoil such a good phone, so hopefully it will work it self out.
Thanx all!

Hi, thanx for the reply
It is the Android program update that the phone prompts me to install. You can manually trigger it from settings program updates. Mine is One UI version 6.0 S918BXXS3BWL3/ etc

Thanx again😄 I actually used smart switch to update it in the first place and it seemed to go according to plan, however afterwards it behaved irradic. After trying and troubleshooting I went for a factory reset while connected by usb to smart switch. I did not set it in safety mode, but afterwards it gave me a blank phone with Hello on the screen. I started initial configuration and have installed apps cleanly, no restore, however it is acting out, not so many reboot loops any more, but freezes out, minimizes apps suddenly, soundhound gets installed but never goes beyond starting screen, the list is endless. Thanxs for advice anyhow. The phone has been rendered totally useless and unreliable, so I hope official support can help me. I will post back the sollution if I get any. Cheers

Hi, sorry for late reply, just got my unit back from repair. They had to replace the motherboard, so I think the OS has becone corrupted beyond either repair or the price and effort it takes to fix it. Bad news I am afraid, so I would rush to your reseller and claim it on the warranty. All the best

Hi @TroubleMaker86!
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with your Galaxy phone. We recommend that you try to force a restart by holding down the side button and the volume down button at the same time for 5 seconds. See if it starts normally after this.
If there is still a problem, we recommend that you take it to a service center and our technicians will help you get it fixed.
