Notification sound S24 ultra

Why some apps plays notification sound different than what I have selected on the settings? I understand some apps uses different notification sound, for example Facebook messenger, but at least they have their own sound and can be changed in app settings at any time. But some apps does play default Samsung sound, even I have sat one I like and it does not allow to change it nor in app settings nor in notification system settings.. what's wrong with it?

Same, going mental with the baadong sound makes me want to switch to another brand

Well that is up to app developer. The one who made the app needs to add support for setting own notification sound, some times they set own one but not the option for you to change it.

Well I found out that if you click on the category and not on the toggles, you go to extra settings where you can set the notification sound to a different one, and change other settings. It's was so fun that I found it, because the menus isn'tt actually that intuitive there, and I had no idea I could press there to an extra menu 🤔😂
