files from computer to s24 ultra

Smart switch is not working!!!! Wanna transfer files from computer to my s 24 ultra. Tried several different cables without any luck.

Popup  screen on my computer is comeing and says connection to your device. but nothing happens 😞

Yes I  have check transfer selection on my phone but no luck and debugging is on/ tried off.

Never use debugg since that is only needed if your going to debugg the device.

If nothing works maybe issue is your PC? Some times problem is PC itself and not he phone or cable itself.

Well I'm using one drive, since most of my files are online anyway. And quick share on s24 ultra with quick share on PC is not working even for me. I can transfer something via phone link, but that's not the best solution I guess. And with a cable I guess it's just drag and drop from phone storage? You could also set up web share thru your file manager on the phone.

Took a usb drive.format to FAT  on my computer. transfered files to the usb. plugged usb drive into my s24 ultra and YES IT WORKED

I don't think you understood, USB device uses generic USB drivers built into windows while a phone installs another driver which there may be issue on your pc/laptop

Maybe. But  the solution i did worked on my  IMAC . Tried android files transfer. no luck. Tried Smart switch no luck. Tried OpenMTB no luck. All appz statet to work with Mac but did not.  It could not find my phone what ever I did

So I will stick to what I did.  🙂

Ah it was a mac, that makes sense. Yeah some apps and programs don't always work well on mac os 😕
