The goal is to have as little bugs as possible once the official Android 10 update has been launched.
And also some of your suggestions are checked and tested if it is possible to implement them (and how soon they could be introduced).
After that, there is a need for that binary to be confirmed by carriers (unfortunately that usually takes longer in UK, than other EU countries).
But I would say, that you should already see the finish line
