Vertical Drawer - Sidebar

Loving the beta so far.

Is it possible to hide the sidebar (letter search) on the right of the vertical app drawer? Highly annoying.

It automatically disappears when you stop scrolling though

Yes, but appears when I'm scrolling and sets off my OCD.

Hello dear community. 

Did you notice that after the last update, selecting an image from the sidebar was removed, it was replaced with a kind of smart selection, but now it is very inconvenient, and if in the past the selection would automatically select exactly the image on the screen, now you have to do 3-4 actions each time before you can select the desired screenshot. And I didn't find the way to roll back  the old type, please help!
