I have a Note20 ultra. I bought it because they say you can take a still frame from a video you've taken. Advice says you open a video in player go to settings, click capture & "nudge buttons " appear. This doesn't seem to be an option in my settings! I therefore can only " use the play/pause button, this doesn't get you very good stills! Can anyone advise me on how to get the facility that was advertised? Cheers

Hi @TCSquare22
Sorry if didn't answer you before because my phone can't do 8K video. When photographing water in motion, shooting at just the right moment can be tricky. If you don’t have the quickdraw reflexes of a pro, you could find yourself with a camera roll full of misses.
Instead, try capturing the whole sequence, from start to finish, with 8K video. Using 8K Video Snap on the RECENT phone you can go back later to sort through every moment to find the right one and pull high-quality stills directly from the footage.¹
Following link is talking about it..
https://www.samsung.com/uk/explore/photography/how-to-shoot-water-photography-that-makes-waves/
I made a short video to show you how to proceed . As i say, my device can't make 8K video so the image is not clear , it's completely blurry with a 4k 60fps
Try this ,
Make a short 8K video and click on it in the Gallery, When you are near on the picture you want to Snap, click on the icon #1. This will have the effect of splitting the image into several photos.
Now click on the 3 dots at the right bottom and click open in the video reader
and play with the cursor A until you find the image to Snap. When you are ready to Snap the picture, click on the icon B (take care there are 2 icons there, thwe white one is the one to click) and that's it
Sorry for the delay, my device just receive Android 12 and One UI 4.0 and i can see it now...
Remember, you need to make a video in 8 K or it will be blurry
Hope it helps

I think it's simple than what i expect...I discover a video from Samsung BUT it's in French (i don't found it on the UK website...You need to be in 9:16 format and in 8K to make it work a take 1 Snapshot...to make many you have to redo it...(my device is too old too verify this )
Let me know if you understand the video.
I also found this but it doesn't explain How to like in the French video : https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/meet-the-unprecedented-8k-video-with-galaxy-s20-pl...
Finally, it's possible that this option is reserved to S20* and more recent device. I found this article on Note 20 ultra 8K video but i don't know if they resolved the problem since the time it was write :
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/phenomena-that-may-occur-when-using-note20-camera/
Is this only for the Note 20 or it include Ultra, i really don't know
@Libb can you help me on this one ?
