Phone keeps turning of random during the day

My Phone keeps restarting a couple of times a day. At random moments when I am using it but also when I am not using it. Does anyone have a solution for this?

In Settings > Battery and device care > Auto optimization, Restart when needed is turned off?

Thank you for reaching out to us! Is your phone up-2-date? Do you also experience this when you have started your phone in Safe Mode? With the Safe Mode you start the device without installed third-party apps, the device then only boots with standard applications. Hi @MartijnK, a few days have passed but unfortunately the problem is not resolved yet. I thought it was but I noticed my phone keeps restarting at random moments when I use it or when I am not using it. Any other tips that might help? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Sem_,

The next thing you can try is a Soft Reset. You can do this by pressing the on/off button and the volume down button at the same time for a few seconds. Your device will turn off and back on again. You won't lose any data with this.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it did not work. The device keeps restarting. For the past week I have been able to send reports about the phone restart when opening this app because it told me the device does not start right. Maybe you could take a look at that? Other suggestions are welcome ofcourse. Hope to hear from you.

I can't look into the error reports for you unfortunately. What you can try is a factory reset with a back up. Will you let me know if it worked?
