XCover 5 back camera not focusing after Android 14/UI6 upgrade

I have 3 XCover 5 phones, I upgraded the OS of the two from Android 13/UI5.1 to Android 14/UI6.0 the other day and both of them can no longer take sharp photos nor able to scan bar/QR codes using the back camera. XCover 5 is used by many businesses to scan barcodes in warehouses, hospitals, groceries, train/bus tickets, etc. I would have thought that the team who is responsible for the Android 14/UI6.0 upgrade has tested the camera because this is the most widely used by the people who used them in their working environment. Please release the fix for this issue as soon as possible. Your business customers will really lose confidence on your product if this is not fixed quickly.

Thanks the camera focusing problem is now fixed.

Samsung should have a new XCover phone with the same size this XCover5 but with decent chip. XCover6 Pro and XCover7 are too large to carry in a pocket as a primary phone. XCover5 is painfully slow.

Almost one month has gone, and today they went live with a patch to fix the camera issues. However, the camera fix is not mentioned in the patch notes' changelog. Well done, Samsung! Pretending like there was never an issue, and when you fix the issue, you still pretend like it never existed.

Yeah the trend the last few years is to have larger and larger phones. And you have to pay premium for smaller phones.  It's really sad.

I miss my HTC Desire. I'm guessing we're never going to see small and fully functional Android devices like that ever again...

Probably to avoid self incrimination if they put it there. People specially companies whose warehouse and inventory operations were crippled because the phones of their employees can no longer scan thousands of QR/bar codes per working shift can be used as evidence to claim for compensation caused by the camera focusing problem.
