This morning i install the latest software update on my Galaxy A6, it completly wiped all my contacts. When I try to re-enter them, I get a message saying "unable to save contact". I have tried resetting all permissions but still have the same problem

Thanks for the reply, I did try that without success. I have managed to solve the problem by doing a settings reset. I did lose things like downloaded ringtones, but not any photos or data. This is the 1st chance had to check for replies so thanks again.

@Davel8383 can you first try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Thanks, rebooting was the simple fix that worked for my Galaxy Sky.

I had this issue on my Note 8. Switched to new hardware Note 9. I still get the error message and data does not save.
