I got a Z Flip 4 in July 2023. Within a month, the 2 rubber protectors had fallen off. I didn't think much about it. Bad mistake. Within a couple of months, the edge began cracking, and the fold mechanism strip from inside phone had come out. I took it to Samsung in the Trafford Centre. They were incredibly unhelpful, saying I'd damaged it and because of this, I had to foot the repair! I was furious as the damage was nothing to do with me. I paid and got the majority of the money back through insurance. I got my phone back all fixed. Then, guess what, the 2 rubber protectors at the bottom of the phone fell off again (Samsung design flaw). I left it for a week as I didn't have time to travel back to the Trafford centre. Now the pixels on the crease of the fold have started to disappear. So I took it back to Samsung, and surprise surprise, it's apparently my fault again and it's out of warranty because the 2 rubber protectors have come off again! This has now happened to me twice, and I'm not paying again to have it fixed. I'm taking this situation to Trading Standards, as there is obviously a flaw in the design of the phone, I've seen plenty of other Z Flip/Fold customers with similar complaints. So I'm going to go down the legal route and take samsung to court if they refuse to replace my phone.
