Hi,

My S21FE was recently stolen with 2 years of photos of videos of our son. Is there anyway Samsung can pull data from a stolen phone? I thought I had my phone backed up but obviously not. I regularly went into My Files to move large files to Cloud storage but I haven't been able to find them anywhere.

Thanks

Did you not have Google photos installed on your phone?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you haven't got cloud backups of the content on that device, and it's all stored locally, the following will likely have happened;

• The phone has been reset or destroyed - The data is lost and is not recoverable.

• The phone is powered off and waiting for one of the above things to happen. - The data is lost and won't be recoverable.

Unfortunately Samsung cannot remotely access a phone and pull data from it, for security and privacy purposes. I'm sorry but your photos are gone. It's security-by-design.

Samsung decided to stop photo's being backed upto Samsung Cloud a good while ago, and instead offers OneDrive if set up.

Personally I use Dropbox.

Do double check where you believe you was backing upto, but unfortunately if they are just not there then the photo's would be lost sadly unless the phone is recovered, and the phone hasn't been reset or broken up in anyway.

I appreciate how precious photo's can be so I hope you get them back.

I assume you've had the phone blacklisted and your sim card barred now too.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
