Hello, I noticed it 3 years ago, but Samsung still hasn't solved it, and as far as I can see, it probably doesn't bother anyone or nobody noticed it. I also compared it with class A and class S of older or new phones, which my friends still have the same. The question is, why do Samsung phones only ring in mono? through the bottom reprak? why doesn't the stereo ring? Feel free to try it, turn off the screen and ring from the other phone and listen. The upper speaker goes to maybe 10-20%, it is almost inaudible except for the ringing, the phone goes in stereo without any problems. Personally, I need to hear the ringing sound as I work with noisy machines, e.g. colleagues, Xiaomi rings beautifully and loudly through both speakers, I will not buy a Xiaomi because I am a fan of Samsung

@Palyop: This might depend on which ringtone you have assigned to your device. Have you tried heading to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Ringtone, and trying multiple options to see if the issue persists? I have checked this on a Galaxy device running Android 14, and the ringtones I tried all played through the top and bottom speakers at equal volume (stereo).
If you head to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing enhancements > Phone speakers, is the slider centralised to indicate that the sound is balanced?

when you try it in the ringtone settings, it plays normal stereo, but turn off the screen and call from the other phone and listen
for example, when you are watching YouTube videos and someone calls you, the phone plays normal stereo, but when you have the phone in your pocket or just put it on the table, you can hardly hear the upper speakers, this is not ok for you must call from other telephone and listen

I think mine is ok, but we noticed this behavior on my mother's somewhat new A34 5G - "normal" audio is well balanced, while on the ringtone you can barely hear the left channel(that's the upper speaker which doubles as an earpiece). If you simply play the exact same song, you can hear both channels equally. I suspect the system jumps into action a bit too soon to prepare the earpiece for the conversation 🤔
