Cant upload pics to FB from my phone

Im suddenly not able to upload photos to facebook from my phone. I can't uninstlall fb as it was a preinstalled app... I've tried logging in and out of the app. I've disabled and 're enabled it and obvs restarted my phone. 

U can upload pics from my fb account on my pc.

I'm at a loss. 

I get the below message when I click on the 'message failed' notification

I have same issue. 

But I could post pictures when I signed into FB in chrome.

It appears to be the FB app even tho I did reinstall it uploads are still failing there.

I signed into facebook via browser  and added that to my homescreen... its a crappier version but can upload photos now

it start from yesterday. my samsung s8 can't upload photos on Facebook App.

As of Saturday I cannot upload pictures from my phone onto Facebook

 I tried everything that was suggested but still not working 

 No problem with Instagram

I dont see an option to update phone software as my phone is set to update automatically? My last update was Sept 20..how do I know if this is the last one?

I am not tech savvy but do u have to uninstall facebook that i currently have that's not allowing me to post pictures and then install version 240 for android?

Try uploading on facebook on the web it will work. Some says the problem is in samsungs and others says its in the facebook app
