When I try to place a call using direct call from the edge panel it opens Viber App?

I open my edge panel and choose a contact to call from the direct call panel. It automatically opens Viber, if I remove Viber it works normally. I can't find any settings on Viber or in Direct Call Panel to fix this issue. 

Viber takes over the Phone Call.
Though using the "People Edge" works normally.

any fixes for that issue?

Try People panel, not Direct Call panel

Go to your home screen and add widgets section and add the direct dial widget (in attached screenshot) and try making a call from it. It'll ask you the default app, select it and you are done!
